What is bonding? What can it do?
Bonding is a cosmetic and restorative process used to repair broken teeth and areas of decay as well as to cover cosmetic defects such as cracked or chipped teeth, gaps, and teeth that are too short or oddly shaped. Bonding uses a soft, malleable resin that is matched to your natural tooth color and applied directly to your tooth. The resin is shaped to create the desired aesthetic and then cured with a UV light to harden the resin and bond it to your tooth.
Bonding is a good choice to correct minor cosmetic issues. Unlike crowns or veneers, it requires minimal preparation of the teeth and can usually be performed in just one visit. It can also be part of a full-mouth restoration, in combination with other procedures we offer. Dr. Singh will work with you to ensure the results will be long-lasting and meet your expectations.
